Black Friday Haul

My idea of a successful Black Friday is getting a bunch of great deals, while at the same time, laughing at crazy people fight for a pair of shoes or anything of the sort (:< Is that bad? Ehh...oh well. Let me do me. Unfortunately, I did not see any ratchet-ness this year, but I did get some pretty good deals! I shopped at Urban Outfitters, H&M, Forever 21, Macy's, and many other stores. Below is a handful of clothes I purchased over this glorious holiday.

1. Multi-colored Holiday Sweater: $7.50
I went Black Friday shopping with my sister and she actually found this sweater for me. The colors at the top of the sweater are a little gaudy for my taste, but the dark navy bottom portion of it tones it down. The more I looked at it, the more I liked it. I'm planning on wearing it with a pair of black skinny jeans and my tan Sperry's.

2."Because I'm Grumpy" T-Shirt: $4.50
My mum really liked this T-Shirt because it apparently "matches my personality."...Whatever. I honestly bought it just because I love Grumpy Cat. I'm planning on wearing it with a pair of dark-washed jeans and white high tops. But because it is so versatile, you can wear it with cargo shorts, sweat pants, or any other casual attire.

3. Black Zipper Sweater: $7
I'm very into neutral clothing with a slight edge and this sweater fits this niche perfectly. The front pocket with silver zippers on each side gives it a unique twist to the classic black sweater. I am planning on wearing it with a pair of acid washed jeans and red vans.

4. Trippy Triangle T-Shirt: $5
Looking at this shirt gave me a headache, but that's alright. The one thing I really liked about this shirt was the material it is made of. Forever 21 is known for using very thin material on a majority of its clothing, especially T-Shirts. However, this T-Shirt is actually pretty thick and sturdy, while at the same time, soft to the touch. That's a definite thumbs up in my book. I'm planning on wearing it with these tan cargo shorts I bought at H&M that fold above my knees, as well as my Timbs or any other pair of brown boots.

5. Bedazzled Vagina T-Shirt: $9
I'm actually not quite sure why I bought this shirt. I think it's because it looked like a bedazzled vagina and I thought, "Hey...that's cool." I'm planning on wearing this shirt with a pair of light washed jeans and classic chucks. It has a very complicated design so it'd be best to pair it with very simple, very basic articles of clothing.

6. Red Tank Top: $8
I'm probably not going to wear this for a few months, but living in California, there's bound to be a hot, sunny day. I bought this shirt because it is very classic and I was in need of a red tank top. I'm also a big fan of heather fabric for it gives clothing a nice textured look. Once the weather warms up, I'm planning on wearing this tank top with a pair of frayed denim shorts and white chucks.

7. The Muppets T-Shirt: $9
Last, but not least, I bought the most amazing muppets T-Shirt EVER. If you haven't noticed, I'm very in to random graphic T-Shirts. I am planning on wearing this with navy blue cargo shorts (the same kind of cargo shorts in the trippy triangle shirt outfit that folds above my knees), an olive green wool cardigan, and black high tops.

What did you guys buy over Black Friday? Let me know! I hope everyone enjoyed this post. Thank you for reading (:

Autumn Wardrobe Wish List

Thanksgiving is only a day away and I couldn't be more excited! I am not only thankful for my wonderful family and friends, but also the beautiful clothes and shoes they have given me. Up till now, I'm still not completely satisfied with the amount of clothes and shoes I have. I'm a little obsessed, I admit it. Anyway, below are two items on my Autumn Wardrobe Wish List: a pair of maroon Doc Martens and a wool cardigan.

First off, Doc Martens are not only nice looking, but extremely sturdy. They're also a tad clunky, but that's alright; I actually have a thing for clunky shoes. Doc Martens are perfect for people, like myself, who are always on the go. I've tried them on before and fell head over heels in love with them. However, the only thing that held me back from purchasing a pair is the price. Depending on where you buy them, Doc Martens tend to be $150 and up. But for the quality and heavy duty design, they are definitely worth it.

Wool cardigans are probably the best light sweater in existence. I have 3 wool cardigans at the moment and I still want more! My favorite part about them is how versatile they are. I've worn them with T-shirts, long-sleeved shirts, button ups, as well as jeans, shorts, trousers, etc. They give off a preppy, home-sweet-home vibe and it suits this season perfectly.

There's something about these two articles of clothing that scream autumn. What's on you Autumn Wardrobe Wish List? Let me know! Thank you for reading (:

My Skin Care Routine

Anyone who knows me well knows how obsessed I am about my skin care routine. I have acne prone skin so I'm always on the look out for high quality skin products for a good price. Pretty much everything from The Body Shop meets this criteria. Three of my favorite skin care products from there are: Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash, Tea Tree Toner, and Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion. Below is my skin care routine using these three products.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I start off by wetting my face and neck with water. Then I massage my face and neck with the Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash for a couple minutes. Afterwards, I rinse off with cold water to close my pores and pat dry with a towel.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Next, I shake the Tea Tree Toner a tad and saturate a cotton pad with it. I only put 3 dabs of the toner on to the cotton pad, but how much varies person to person. Then I swipe it across my face and down my neck.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lastly, I get my Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion and put a dime sized amount on my finger. I'll put a dab on both of my cheeks, my forehead, my chin and my nose. Then I just massage it all in.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I use this skin care routine in the morning and at night. However, I don't use the Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion at night for it is a day lotion (aka it has sunscreen). Instead, I use the Tea Tree Blemish Fade Night Lotion which is extremely good at getting rid of acne scars. Anyway, thank you so much for reading (:

Blending In

I love camouflage shorts. Actually, I think I just have a thing for camouflage attire. The one thing I like to pair them with are these brown boots from Forever 21. This pairing really has a military-esque vibe. Let me know if you like it. Thank you so much for reading (:

Dawn of the Ape

Whenever I wear this shirt, I automatically think of my gorilla obsessed AP Bio teacher. I paired this shirt with a pair of horizontal striped shorts. It's a very casual outfit with a slight edge. Let me know if you like this outfit. Thank you so much for reading (:

Shirt: Folded and Hung
Shorts: Old Navy

Back To Basics

I'm a pretty lazy person so thinking of nice outfits to wear every single day gets very daunting at times. When I run into days where I'm just too lazy, or even too busy, to put together a nice outfit, I just stick with the basics: a solid tee, a pair of jeans, and a belt to tie everything together. Let me know if you like this outfit. Thank you so much for reading (:
